Ing in from the background skimming the top of the water. In the middle ground is a particularly wide tree. Throughout this piece the water is reflective. The overall look of this painting is sinister and eerie. I believe the focal point of this image is the reflection of the moonlight on the water and of the large tree beside the reflection.
